About these Terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and Escher Group Pty Ltd (ABN 56 638 285 784) trading as Blueprint (“Escher Group”, “we”, “us”), which runs Blueprint by Escher Group (“Blueprint”). They apply when you create an account, subscribe or otherwise use Blueprint. Our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy are part of them.

You must be at least 18. If you use Blueprint for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf.

What Blueprint is

Blueprint is a subscription service. It writes a marketing strategy for your business from your answers to its questions, then gives you the tools to act on it:

  • Coach, a marketing strategist you can ask anything, and This Month, Dial Movers and Foundational Tasks, the jobs your strategy sets out
  • the Content Builder, where the Planner, the Writer and the Designer plan, write and design social posts, articles, press releases and newsletters
  • the Brand Kit, Knowledge, the Website Analyzer and Competitors
  • a Monday email with something ready to post and one small job

We keep improving Blueprint, so features may be added, changed or removed, and some may open to some customers first. Blueprint doesn’t post, publish or send anything for you: you decide what to use, and where.

3

Your account

To use Blueprint you need an account. You agree to:

  • give accurate information and keep it up to date
  • keep your password private, and use one sign-in per person (a seat is for one person)
  • take responsibility for everything done under your account
  • tell us straight away at info@eschergroup.com.au if you think someone else has used it

You can turn on two-step sign-in in Settings, and we recommend it.

4

Payment and billing

4.1 Your subscription. Blueprint is billed monthly or yearly, in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe. Stripe takes the payments. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Creating an account is free; your strategy is written once you subscribe.

4.2 What’s included, and extras. A subscription covers one business and one seat, with your strategy and every tool. You can add team seats, more businesses and top-up packs at the prices shown in Blueprint before you confirm. Seats and businesses are billed with your subscription, and adding one part-way through a period is charged for the part that’s left.

4.3 Allowances. AI features include monthly allowances, shown in Settings, and some have daily limits.

4.4 Price changes. We’ll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription.

4.5 Taxes. Prices don’t include taxes. Where a tax applies, such as GST for customers in Australia, it’s added at checkout.

4.6 Currency. Prices are in US dollars.

4.7 Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe tries your card again over the following days, and Blueprint keeps working meanwhile. If it still can’t be paid, your subscription ends, just as if you’d cancelled (see section 5).

5

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time from Settings, under Billing. You keep everything until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

The first month isn’t refundable, because your strategy is written in full as soon as it’s paid for. Renewals aren’t refunded once a new period has started. A yearly payment can be refunded within 14 days, less one month at the monthly price. The Refund Policy has the full rules, including seats, extra businesses and top-up packs.

When your subscription ends, your tools lock. We keep your strategies, content and files for 120 days, so everything comes back if you subscribe again. After that they’re deleted. To keep a copy of your strategy, save it as a PDF before your access ends.

6

What’s yours and what’s ours

6.1 Blueprint. Blueprint, its software, design and templates belong to Escher Group or the companies we license them from.

6.2 What you add. Everything you give Blueprint stays yours: your answers, files, photos, logos, fonts, Knowledge and messages. You let us store and use it, and send it to the companies named in our Privacy Policy, only to run Blueprint for you. You confirm you have the right to use what you add, such as photos and fonts you’ve licensed.

6.3 What Blueprint makes for you. Your strategy, and the posts, articles, press releases, newsletters and pictures Blueprint makes, are for you to use in your business, including publishing them. As far as we can, we give you any rights we have in them. You may not resell your strategy or Blueprint’s work as a product or service of its own, use Blueprint to build a competing product, or copy or reverse-engineer Blueprint.

7

Content made with AI

Blueprint uses AI to write and design. AI can get things wrong, so:

  • check facts, prices, claims and names before you publish or send anything
  • check pictures too: they’re made by AI and can have mistakes, such as odd lettering
  • nothing Blueprint makes is professional advice, legal, financial or otherwise
  • you’re responsible for what you publish or send, and for the rules of your industry and of advertising
  • we can’t promise any particular result for your business
8

Using Blueprint fairly

Don’t use Blueprint to:

  • break the law, mislead people or harm anyone
  • make anything hateful, harassing, threatening or violent, or that promotes terrorism or extremism
  • make sexually explicit content, or anything that sexualises or endangers children
  • make content that’s false or defamatory, or that you don’t have the right to use
  • impersonate a person or business, or scam anyone
  • send spam, or email people who haven’t agreed to hear from you
  • get around allowances, limits or security, or get into accounts that aren’t yours
  • copy, scrape or reverse-engineer Blueprint, or run automated tools on it without our written OK
  • interfere with Blueprint, or with other customers using it

You must also follow the rules of the AI companies Blueprint uses: Anthropic’s Usage Policy and Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.

If you break these rules, we may remove the content and suspend or permanently close your account, without a refund. Where the law requires it, or the content could harm someone (anything involving children above all), we report it to the police or other authorities.

When you ask Blueprint to read a website, a competitor’s included, it reads public pages only, as any visitor would.

9

Newsletters you send

The Email Builder makes newsletters for you to send from your own email platform, such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo. We don’t send them. You’re responsible for:

  • having your readers’ permission to email them, and an unsubscribe link, as anti-spam laws require (such as the Spam Act 2003 in Australia and CAN-SPAM in the US)
  • following your email platform’s own terms

What you send, and who you send it to, is up to you. We aren’t responsible for either.

Pictures in your newsletters are kept on Blueprint’s servers so they show in your readers’ inboxes. If your files are deleted (section 5), pictures in newsletters you’ve already sent may stop showing.

If you add a vote or a quiz, Blueprint counts the answers for you, as our Privacy Policy describes. Readers’ names and email addresses aren’t kept. Your own privacy policy should tell your readers you use service providers like Blueprint.

10

Your team

The account owner pays for seats and decides who’s on the team. Everyone on the team can see and work on every business in the account. Only the owner can invite or remove people, change seats, add or remove businesses, buy top-up packs and manage billing.

Work a team member does belongs to the business it was made for, and stays when they leave. The owner is responsible for what the team does in Blueprint. If the owner’s subscription ends, the team loses access too.

11

Privacy

How we collect, use and protect personal information is in our Privacy Policy.

12

Other companies’ services

Blueprint relies on other companies, such as Stripe for payments and Anthropic and Google for AI. Our Privacy Policy lists them all. When you put Blueprint’s work into another service, such as your email platform or a social network, that service’s terms apply. We aren’t responsible for other companies’ services.

13

Warranties

THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

Important notice for Australian and New Zealand users: Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. The disclaimers in this section apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL.

Important notice for Australian and New Zealand users: Where the Australian Consumer Law or the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act applies and we cannot exclude liability, our liability is limited to the re-supply of the services or the payment of the cost of having the services re-supplied.

15

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Escher Group from claims arising out of your use of Blueprint, your breach of these Terms, or anything you publish or send using Blueprint’s work.

16

Ending or pausing an account

16.1 By you. You can cancel any time (section 5). To have your account and everything in it deleted, email us at info@eschergroup.com.au.

16.2 By us. We may pause or end an account that breaks these Terms or isn’t paid, or to protect Blueprint or other customers. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and say why. While an account is paused, nobody on it can sign in, nothing is charged and nothing is deleted.

16.3 Afterwards. Section 5 says what happens to your work. Sections 6, 7, 13 to 15, 17 and 18 still apply after an account ends.

17

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, where Escher Group is registered. Nothing in them takes away consumer protections you have under the laws where you live.

18

Disputes

18.1 Talk to us first at info@eschergroup.com.au.

18.2 Mediation. If it isn’t resolved, either of us may refer it to mediation.

18.3 Court. If mediation fails, either of us may go to court.

18.4 Class action waiver (US users). To the maximum extent permitted, proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis.

19

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll tell you about important changes by email or in Blueprint before they apply. If you don’t agree with them, you can cancel.

20

General

20.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, with the Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and Escher Group about Blueprint.

20.2 Severability. If any part is found invalid, the rest still applies.

20.3 Waiver. Not enforcing a right doesn’t waive it.

20.4 Assignment. You may not transfer your rights without our consent.

20.5 Force majeure. We aren’t liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

20.6 No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture or agency.
